Wilbur Crossley

Principal, Former AT&T Officer

Wilbur Crossley has over 45 years of communication and technological management experience, where he held numerous technology and operations’ management executive positions. Mr. Crossley traversed through lower and mid-level management of AT&T, and reached Sr. Level Management during the early 80s.
He held several Executive Level Management Positions with AT&T. His executive management positions included such positions as Regional Informational Technology Manager for all of the Bell Operating Companies, and Vice President of Strategic Planning and Infrastructure Deployment for SBC (now AT&T).
He spent 3 years in South Africa, where he was COO (Managing Executive) of Telkom South Africa, responsible for the Communications Operations. – He was responsible for a 4 Billion Dollar Annual Budget and 65, 000 Employees. After returning to the United States from South Africa, He was promoted to Sr. VP and Chief Operating Officer of SBC (now AT&T), Advanced Solutions, Inc.
After leaving AT&T, he was the Chief Technology Officer for Simon PCS, a national wireless communications partnering company to AT&T Wireless , and later the Chief Operations Officer for Operational Technologies, a technology provider to the communications companies with national accounts.
Currently he is the CEO for the Crossley Group, which is a Communication Technology, Entertainment, and Operations Management Consultation Company.

Craig Crossley

Principal, Grammy Nominated/A-List Brand Manager and Producer

Craig Crossley is a Grammy Nominated entertainment professional and brand manager. He has used his experience in and around the communications, technology, marketing, and entertainment industries to cultivate an integrated niche expertise in Entertainment Business Development. Over the years The Crossley Group has played a role in consulting, developing and operating digital media, commerce and marketing solutions for high level entertainers, multi-media, technology, and retail brands.
His entrepreneurial work includes clients and partners such as Funimation Entertainment, Sears Holdings Corporation, Kmart, Cisco, Konami Digital Entertainment, Will Smith Enterprises, Aftermath Entertainment, Universal Music Group, GoGo Mobile, Mixcast TV, and others… In the entertainment vertical he brought this same innovation and understanding to the table when he established a joint venture that formed the digital music infrastructure for Navio Systems, where he developed the initial direct to consumer rights based digital strategy implemented across Sony Music’s label system. In the retail vertical he designed, implemented, and operated an integrated in-venue video network and coupon delivery system (including its content programming and advertising sales) for Sears Holdings Corporation by bringing together a private equity firm, an equipment manufacturer, a marketing company, and a production company.
He started his entertainment career by the side of Will Smith (where he still maintains a business development role) as part of his management team and later evolved into various capacities with the Will Smith/Overbrook Entertainment family of companies. Before partnering with his college friend, Harry Smith and Smith Global Management to spin off his own company, he managed a roster of talent and served in a versatile business development position to direct the Smith Family’s entrepreneurial activity and the integration of new media opportunities and corporate sponsorship with talent management. Here he started and operated a portfolio of companies in marketing, entertainment, technology, and hospitality.
Preceding his involvement with the Smiths, Mr. Crossley spent four years in SBC’s (now AT&T) Leadership Development Program. During this time, he served as Area Manager over High Capacity and Digital Circuit Provisioning for Northern California. Here he was responsible for 12 direct reports with over 300 employees in 2 operations centers in San Ramon and Sacramento. Prior to this position he was in Dallas, Texas where he started in Network Operations and helped lead the company’s competitive local exchange efforts and other initiatives derived from the Telecommunications Act of 1996.
Craig is also a former playing and teaching golf professional out of the Gateway Section of the PGA. In his last position he was General Manager in charge of Golf Operations for Grand Marais Golf Course.
Craig received his degree in Finance from Hampton University in Hampton, VA.

Lance is a multi-talented professional who has over a decade of successful business development and and strategic consulting expertise as a partner in The Hatchery. He is well versed in all facets of the business cycle from the initial funding phase to the final acquisition. He is a self-motivated individual able to communicate and network effectively within all levels of management and personnel in any organization. His strong entrepreneurial spirit allows him to recognize strategic business opportunities and become a catalyst from the start-up phase where he becomes instrumental in facilitating growth.
Lance helped found Essential Security Software (Encryptics) in 2003 where his strong cross-functional management skills were key to raising the initial capital for the organization and later the acquisition of the business. Lance also served on the advisory board of Atigeo.
Using that experience Lance has created a proven track record in finding and creating strategic business opportunities for various organizations. Over the last several years, Lance has secured millions of dollars in private equity for emerging companies by utilizing his extensive network which spans multiple industries (from software to retail to healthcare to entertainment and sports). Lance has solid management, interpersonal, and communication skills with a proven track record of his career accomplishments.
Lance is a Graduate of Angelo State University.

Gibril is a recent Economics graduate from SMU. While there he was a student leader with Engage Dallas where he developed social impact activations that brought students and corporate sponsors together to serve others. He produced 32 community service events for homeless shelters in Dallas, bringing 960 aggregated hours of donated time to those in need. Since then he has developed and project managed emerging technology marketing activations that integrate social impact and consumer brands.
